School Details, History, Short Description, Achievements etc
In June1986, Pangani Girls’ School became a boarding school. 99% of Asian students studying in the school at that time left to join other day secondary schools. Only one Asian student dared to stay on as a boarder. A few students were given the option of being day scholars.
Academically, Pangani Girls school started competing well with other schools in 1990. The 1990 candidates put Pangani on the top 100 list of schools in Kenya that had performed well in their national examinations. Thanks to the 1990 class under the leadership of Mrs. Ruth Cheruiyot. Since that year, the school has been posting very impressive grades and taking so many their students to different Universities.
Another historical milestones took place in 2011 when Pangani Girls school was made a national school. The first national class came in in 2012 and cleared in 2015. Pangani Girls school is continually making progress to this date.
