In Kenya, Magufuli is adored because he has proved to be a no-non sense leader who doesn’t condone corruption unlike Kenya’s leaders who sleep and eat corruption.

In our own country, Education Cabinet Secretary, Fred Matiang’i, is now nicknamed ‘Magufuli’ due to the dust he is sweeping in the Education Ministry that has left many corrupt mongrels in the Ministry gasping for breath.

Since his appointment, Matiang’i who has PhD in Communication and Comparative Literature has taken a bull by its horns in the expansive Ministry and he is taking no prisoners.

On Friday, Matiangi issued a strict warning to politicians, who are seeking to vie for public office in the 2017 General Election, in possession of disputable academic certificates.

The hardworking CS stated that the Ministry will not clear anyone with questionable papers hence will block them from elections.

“Elections are up and everyone is rushing to get papers. This time CUE’s voice must be heard. Those who present papers from unrecognised universities will be turned away,” Matiangi said.

“If you turn up with a degree that we do not know, we shall refuse it so that you do not take up public office,” Matiang’i added.
