Badi Twalib Bady is the MP for Jomvu Constituency. He is a first time Member of the Kenya National Assembly having been sworn in on 28 March 2013.
Jomvu Constituency is a new electoral unit that was curved out of the larger Changamwe Constituency.
Badi Twalib Bady is loved for his development projects in the constituency which are mostly road construction in the industrial constituency.
This developments in the area has brought confidence of the people to MP for the good he is doing. It has boosted his reelection come 2017.
In Jomvu Constituency he has been christened ‘Kijana Mwepesi’ because of his youthful stature and demeanour.
Badi Twalib Bady is the MP who launched the Banglapesa in Jomvu Constituency Mombasa County. He backed the use of Bangla-Pesa saying its objective is to support local businesses. Speaking during the Madaraka Day celebrations at Tononoka Grounds in Mombasa in 2013, Badi said the government should stop harassing the locals for trying to initiate programmes that will grow local businesses.

Badi Twalib Bady was among those patriotic coast MPs who stood with DP William Ruto when he was battling with his ICC trial. They defended Deputy President William Ruto over the ICC case against him and asked the ICC prosecutor Fatou Bensouda to drop the charges against Ruto.
Badi Twalib Bady was accused of hand picking members of the constituency development committee. A section of residents in the area, and Haki Yetu director, Fr Gabriel Dolan, had claimed that the criteria as stipulated in the constitution, was not followed. He however said he is just the patron of the committee, and the names were fronted by the CDF manager, after a public forum had been called.
