Social media is abuzz following President Uhuru Kenyatta’s rare show of affection for First Lady Margaret Kenyatta after the two kissed in the full glare of the cameras and in the presence of a multitude during the opening of the English Point Marina in Mombasa, sending social media into a frenzy.

In the photos shared by State House Director of Digital Communication, Dennis Itumbi, Uhuru and his wife are seen enjoying a rare intimate moment of kissing and hugging as their handlers salivated as they looked in amusement.

After the quixotic kissing, Uhuru is seen blushing as he laughed uncontrollably like a man who has just broken a woman’s virginity while Maggy was all smiles as she could not believe what had just happened.

Among those who watched Uhuru kiss his wife deeply as they salivated on the sidelines were Tourism Cabinet Secretary, Najib Balala, the President’s Private Secretary, Jomo Gechaga, and his bodyguard.
