  1. The common regulations governing certificate course in the University of Nairobi shall apply
  2. Holders of KCSE minimum aggregate of C- or KCE Division III equivalent
  3. Holders of a diploma and/or degree (or equivalent) from an Institution recognized by the University of Nairobi senate

The certificate course in AICM shall be offered under three modules namely, Full Time, Part-Time and through Open Distance Learning (ODL).

  1. The Certificate course shall have eight units of lectures, demonstrations and laboratory work.
  2. The certificate course shall consist of coursework and examinations
  3. The course shall cover a minimum of 6 weeks and a maximum of 15 weeks.
  4. A candidate will be required to take and pass all the courses.
  5. Each course unit will have a minimum of 25 contact hours.
  6. Each candidate will be required to undertake a project individually and submit a written report.
  7. The course will constitute 60% contact hours of theory and 40% contact hours of practicals.
