Waweru Mburu dead: Waweru Mburu of Citizen Radio Dies at MP Shah Hospital

Waweru Mburu Dead: Sad news to Royal Media Services stations’ listeners and viewers following the death of their popular long time Citizen Radio broadcaster Waweru Mburu.

Waweru Mburu passed on at MP Shah Hospital in Nairobi after a long struggle with Gastric Cancer.

Waweru Mburu was the popular Presenter of the program Yaliyotendeka, that was broadcasted on Citizen radio. The 15-minute show ran on weekdays at 8pm, with repeats the following morning at 6.45am.

Waweru was the Head of Radio Citizen at Royal Media Services.

Mburu had some political ambitions and he had recently declared his bid to vie for Maragua Constituency MP seat in 2017 elections.

Mburu went to Emusire Boys High School in Kakamega and later proceeded to University of Nairobi where he studied Development Communication.
