KMTC Application 2023/2024 in the KMTC Portal
The Kenya Medical Training College invites applications through the KMTC Portal from qualified candidates for admission into Medical Courses for the academic year 2023/2024 as Regular trainees in our 68 campuses situated in different parts of the country.
The successful candidates will join the college in March 2023 and September 2023. All applications should be made ONLINE with an application fee of Ksh. 2022 payable via MPESA pay bill No. 964150 following the procedure outlined on the KMTC website (www.kmtc.ac.ke).

Course duration: Certificate Courses: 2 Years except for Community Health Nursing which takes 2 1/2 years
Course duration: Diploma Courses: 3 Years except for Community Health Nursing which takes 3 1/2 years
Mean Grade: Diploma Courses C (Plain) and above, Certificate courses a C- (Minus) and above then specific cluster subjects as described for each course

For the KMTC Application 2023, the procedure will be the same as that of the previous years.
KMTC Application 2023/2024, KMTC Online Application – How to Create a KMTC Portal Online Account
👉 You must have a valid email address
👉 Log to KMTC Portal website www.kmtc.ac.ke
👉 On the menu, click on the KMTC Portal menu item, the last item on the right side
👉 You will land on the online registration portal
👉 If you have registered an account, log in using your email and password
👉 If you don’t have an account, click on the (Have no account? Register) below the log in form.
👉 This will land you to creating account form
👉 Enter your valid email and password
👉 Click on Create Account Button
👉 An email will be sent to your email address with a link to verify your account.
👉 Open your email and Click on the email link
👉 You will be redirected to KMTC portal.
👉 Fill in your personal information on the account creation form provided
👉 Click on the register button
👉 You will be provided with a form to confirm your data
👉 Check information accuracy
👉 Click save changes.
KMTC Online Application 2023 – KMTC Portal online account Application Process
👉 On the left sidebar, click on the applications
👉 From the drop-down menu, click apply
👉 You will be directed to option 1 course selection
👉 Select the Option 1 course level (Diploma or Certificate)
👉 Click Search
👉 A form will appear within the page
👉 Select your desire course
👉 Fill in the form details as guided by the from labels
👉 Make sure that all fields are filled
👉 Click on submit application
👉 You will be redirected to Option 2 Form
👉 Select the course level (Diploma or Certificate)
👉 Click Search
👉 A form will appear within the page
👉 Select your desired option 2 course
👉 Fill in the form details as guided by the from labels Make sure that all fields are filled
👉 Click on submit application
KMTC Portal Online Application – You will be redirected to Upload KCSE certificate page.
👉 Select the KCSE certificate/ result slip soft-copy file
👉 Click upload
KMTC Portal Online Application – You will be redirected to Upload leaving certificate page.
👉 Select the leaving certificate soft-copy file
👉 Click upload
KMTC Portal Online Application – You will be redirected to Upload National ID/ Birth Certificate/ Passport page.
- 👉 Select the leaving National ID/ Birth Certificate/ Passport soft-copy file on the front side
- 👉 Select the leaving National ID/ Birth Certificate/ Passport soft-copy file on the backside
- 👉 Click upload
KMTC Portal Online Application – You will be redirected to confirm courses page click Here
👉Make sure the courses listed reflect your selected courses
👉 If you wish to change the course click on reject button
👉 You will be redirected to application page again
👉 Make a payment of Ksh. 2,022 to MPESA Business Number Number 964150 and your National id or Birth certificate number as the Account Number (Confirm that the payment is paid to Kenya Medical Training College)
👉 Click on confirm button
👉 If you get a message with a message (“Please pay Ksh. 2022 to paybill number 964150 To Confirm The Course”), Please wait for upto ten minutes and refresh the page.
👉 NB
The Amount paid is for the whole Application Process.
👉 Click on the confirm button (Blue Button on the right side Against the courses) or Reject button if you need to change the courses. Make sure you confirm all your courses.
👉 A confirmation SMS will be sent to your phone number. (Added as phone number 1 during entering of personal information)
👉 If you don’t receive two SMS confirming your courses please call Amos -0720 602 805 or Josphat 0713 727 937
👉 Click on My Applications from left menu to see your applied courses
KMTC Portal Login Forgot Password
If you have forgot your KMTC portal Login password
👉 Go to http://kmtc.ac.ke/portal
👉 Click on “Forgot Password”
👉 Type your Email address
👉 Click “Submit Change”
👉 Your new password activation link will be sent to your email address

If you have forgotten the email address you registered with
👉 Go to http://kmtc.ac.ke/portal
👉 Click on “Forgot Email Address”
👉 Enter your National Id or Phone Number
👉 Click “Recover Mail”
