Mombasa Deputy Governor dumps CORD and joins Jubilee! Says RAILA will never be President
Former Prime Minister, Raila Odinga, has suffered another blow after one of his trusted members from Mombasa County dumped him and joined President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy, William Ruto.
Speaking yesterday, Mombasa Deputy Governor, Hezel Katana, announced her official exit from Raila Odinga’s CORD saying she is now in Jubilee.
She joined the Jubilee campaign team in Malindi to drum up support for JAP candidate, Philip Charo, who she said was the best man for the job.
Hezel castigated CORD, accusing Raila Odinga of lacking vision and an agenda for the country.
She exuded confidence that Uhuru/ Ruto will win the 2017 General Election by a landslide, which is why she joined Jubilee because she was tired of being in the Opposition which has no hope of ever ruling Kenya.
Hezel’s exit from CORD comes not long after Uhuru’s controversial tour to the County that culminated into closing down Governor Ali Hassan Joho’s businesses on the pretext that they were engaged in illegal businesses.
