Kabete Mp Ferdinand Waititu has found himself at quite a tricky position after Panjab University which he had cited in his defence to show that he went to there said Ferdinand Waititu did not study in Panjab University India.

The MP is engaged in a tussle with the Kiambu Governor Kabogo who alleges that he did not go to University. In an affidavit filed at the court and presented by Kabogo’s lawyer, a document from the university denies the existence of a student called Ferdinand Waititu in the academic years cited.

Kabogo says he was an alumni of the university and he was also doing this to protect the integrity of those who attended the university.

“The name of Ferdinand Waititu is not in on record as a student of B.Com Degree course during the academic sessions 1985-86 to 1987-88 …The name of the student having registration No. 85-GC-555 is Clifford Ndung’u Waititu during the academic session 1985-86, 1986-87 and 1987-88 for B.Com through degree course.”

Kabogo, through his lawyer argued that Kabogo claim of changing names is invalid as he used the same names in his CPE certificate to enroll to High School and the same would be used in his University degree certificate. aside form the university, the Public Service Commission has also denied that Waititu ever worked for the civil service.
“The commission does not have any records of the alleged employment of Ferdinand Ndung’u Waititu on 16th January, 1989,” the Commission said in a letter.
