Laikipia University Hostel Booking
Since there are limited accommodation spaces within the University, booking of rooms is done online on first come first-serve basis.
The hostels are available to students on a first come first served basis at a stipulated fee.
Although there are limited spaces within the university premises, there are alternative hostels recommended by the University within the neighborhood that are within walking distance, secure, have hot water, electricity and other basic amenities.
The University therefore recommends alternative accommodation to students who fail to get accommodation on campus.
Laikipia University Eldoret Campus Location, Contacts
The Campus is located in the Kapsoya area, along Eldoret-Nakuru Highway in Uasin Gishu County.

Maralal Campus is situated on a 600-acre piece of land granted by the County Council of Samburu to the University from the 1,600-acre Namotio Farm.
The Campus is located 5 kms west of Maralal Town, and is adjacent to Maralal High School.

Main Campus
From being a Diploma Science Teacher’s college under the Ministry of Education, it was taken over by Egerton University on 1st July 1990 as a campus.
It remained a campus of Egerton University between 1990 till 2010 majoring in BEd Arts and BA courses.
In 2011 it became a constituent University College of Egerton University until 19th February 2013 when it became a fully-fledged University.
It is Located along Nakuru – Nyahururu – Nyeri Highway in Laikipia County.
