Makueni Senator, Mutula Kilonzo Jnr says Okoa Kenya initiative was a sham and a disaster

Makueni Senator, Mutula Kilonzo Jnr, has shocked CORD leaders and supporters after he said that the Okoa Kenya initiative was a sham and a disaster waiting to happen to Kenyans.

Sharing his views via social media on Friday after the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) announced that opposition had failed to collect one million signatures necessary to call for a referendum, Mutula said experts who spearheaded the Okoa Kenya movement were planning to fail.

“Truth be told. The Okoa Kenya initiate experts were a disaster par excellence. Everything they touched turned black,” Mutula said.

Among the experts who were spearheading the initiative are Raila Odinga‘s personal lawyer, Paul Mwangi, and former Anti Graft Czar, John Githongo.

CORD principals Raila Odinga, Kalonzo Musyoka, Moses Wetangula and Narc Kenya chairperson, Martha Karua, were advising the Committee of Experts.
