VIDEO: This is the man who made Raila fall down from podium in Malindi
After careful scrutiny and analysis of the video that captured former Prime Minister Raila Odinga and other CORD politicians fall to the ground after the podium collapsed in Malindi, it has now been established that the fall was the work of one unidentified man.
In the video clip, a man in a white shirt on the far right, is seen holding onto one of the main pillars of the podium as Raila Odinga addresses his supporters.
He then gestures at the crowd to move away from the stage. He withdraws his hands from the podium and jumps into the crowd leaving the dais to come crumbling down with Raila Odinga among other CORD leaders on it.
It appears the mysterious man was the only one supporting the visibly weak podium but when more and more CORD leaders jumped onto it, he could not sustain it and chose to leave them to fall like children as he jumped to safety.
Fortunately, no one was injured and Raila came back up to finish his speech which was full of parables and bible verses.
