Kamba Gospel Singer Margaret Mutunga Is Dead

Death has struck gospel fraternity robbing them one of the most talented singers in Kenya!

Margaret Mutunga is known for various Kamba gospel songs with the latest being ‘Neena Nakwa Yesu’ which was released sometimes in January 2016.

Citizen Radio’s Syombua Mwele broke the sad news about the sudden demise of the renowned Kamba gospel singer.

“This is distressingly sad! I am relaxing in dala Kanga, Rongo in Migori only to receive the heart-wrenching news of your demise! I am bewildered and shocked! How now? Fare thee well Margaret Mutunga: a renowned Kamba Gospel artist, ‘Mbaitu Tukwatanei’ hitmaker amongst so many other Kamba hymns that continue to speak to my heart. I will miss you mum. My sincere heartfelt condolences to the family of Maggie and the gospel industry. Osai ukiakisyo wakwa Syitwani ya Yesu.” Wrote Syombua.
