Kalonzo Musyoka meets President Uhuru Kenyatta secretly in State House
Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s CORD could be headed for turbulent times ahead of 2017 if details emerging from political corridors are anything to go by.
There are whispers within Kenya’s political circles that former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka may be planning to ditch the Opposition and join hands with President Uhuru Kenyatta in 2017.
Unconfirmed reports indicate that Kalonzo Musyoka met President Uhuru Kenyatta secretly at State House for one and half hours to negotiate a deal over a possible coalition in 2017.
Sources revealed that Kalonzo was negotiating to be Uhuru’s running mate in 2017 because he cannot trust Raila Odinga anymore.
The alleged meeting was so secretive that not even Deputy President William Ruto was aware of it.
Kalonzo Musyoka has been discontent with the way he has been treated in CORD and is seeking an alternative elsewhere either to join Jubilee or run for Presidency using Wiper Party. He is infuriated that Raila doesn’t want to step down for him as agreed in 2012.
